With its 91-year history, Sepiciler has become the global brand of the Turkish leather industry that adheres to the principles of sustainability and respects the nature. The word “Sepici” means “one who deals with tanning”. Our story started when our founder Ahmet Mehmet Sepici (1900-1980) founded his own company in 1930. Mehmet Sepici, who started his working life by tanning goat skin for hat production, moved to his new place in Yeşildere in 1953. Since there was no leather organized industry in Turkey at that time, an unprecedented breakthrough was made and the foundations of Sepiciler Çaybaşı Leather Factory were laid in Torbalı in 1974 with its own private modern treatment plant. Today, this facility, which consists of 3 different factories as leather, screw and vegetal, is operated by the third generation, in the position of increasing export volume and the preference of global brands. Today, Sepiciler Çaybaşı Deri Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi aims to provide products and services in international quality standards by using its resources in the most effective way, to maintain an environmental management organization that respects nature and natural resources, to contribute to economic development and to represent its country in the international market in the best way. Continuing its commercial life in three different sectors, Sepiciler always aims to add value to the country's technology and economy while continuing its investments with its principles and visionary perspective.
